i finished my hat for knitting class i had to switch to dpn's to close it got a little tricky but it turned out nice, also i finally finished the neverending scarf bout' damn time towards the end i did not put any care into it at all but that scarf was not it for me my next project is a cable knit scarf and hat set because i do not know how to do cables so this will be interesting i am also copying off of locqueen and making my puppie a rasta color sweater which he won't wear.......

i just finished another hat i made it with paton's decor it turned out rather nice i will post pics soon, i went to class yesterday i really didn't have anything i needed help with but i took a pattern anyway i am making yet another hat except on circulars this time i like making hats on the circulars better than dpn's i don't like the color i matched the varigated with it is a contrasting color but it is too bland for me............

i finally finished the sock now i have to finish the other one so i can give them to my sister. i have really caught the knitting bug my friends are now requesting things i want to knit the nurse of my clinic something for her baby i have to find the patience to do this, one of my co-workers wants two hats and two scarves another one wants some socks but they mostly want hats i guess i have alot of work to do and to finish that damn scarf......

i finally went to knitting class yesterday and she showed me the gussett i was doing it right just going the wrong way know i can finally finish my sock, the owner of the yarn store had some new yarn in and me and my sister went crazy and bought so much yarn it was ridiculous but the colors were so pretty, i have this thing now for varigated yarn i like how as you knit the colors just flow....
scarf it has become my nemesis it is just a simple stockinette stitch but i have grown tired of it and the colors but it's for my 12 yr old cousin and she likes it i hope she can get it by christmas

my sister finally finished my granny square bag i really love it i did not know my sister knew how to crochet that good she said she learned when we were little i did not know that anyway i like my bag

i made another hat the other day it was cute i did it in all black but it did not fit my head at all so it is just a display i am getting pretty good at knitting because i am knitting faster i followed this
pattern i need a better looking picture of it on my picture page

i turned the heel on my sock but this gussett has got me confused i tried reading the directions but i just can't get it so i guess i will wait until next class

i finally finished my hat it is rather cute i am going to do a scarf and hand warmers in the camo, it took a week to do but only because i do not concentrate on anything i would have finished in a couple of hours anyway it is finshed and i am proud of myself

my index finger is so sore from pushing back the needle i have really been working hard on my things and now i have the soreness to prove it my mother keeps telling me that i will never finish a project because i jump from one to the other but now she can see my bruised and swollen finger that even though i jump around that work is getting done my hat is almost finished i can say that if i total my work up in hours it takes me only a couple of hours to finish something because i only work on my stuff for about 10-15 minutes a day 30 minutes at the most if not for my job and my two boys i could concentrate but my babies are not a hinderance but my job is but thats another blog..............

i finished my 5" of my sock so tomorrow i will finish the rest if the teacher lets me she is really strict on this knitting thing, i finished a bag last nite it only took 4 hrs the colors are a definite but the way i have them mixed up are not right i could not figure out to save my life how to add the loop for the toggle as soon as i figure out how to add links w/in my post i will put a pic up of all my projects.....

i am almost finished the 5" of my sock assignment i wish i could go to the next step i am so ready to finished to see the outcome. i am no where near finished my cousins scarf but it will be done before christmas. i am ordering a knitting machine soon so i can knit big projects like afghans and sweaters. i have alot of ideas so far i just need the time to do them i am so ready to start knitting hats. i have been thinking about getting into crochete again i want to make a couple of bags and hats with that i started a baby blanket years ago and never finished it so i might try to make another. i started knitting a purse but i have so many things going on in my head that i start and jump to something else i need to focus...

I just started a knitting class on saturday my first project is a pair of socks with this pretty wool yarn, soon as i figure out how to link stuff i will post a link to the site, and upload a picture of my socks, i have knitted two scarves so far they are pretty nice i just figured out that i was doing my purls wrong so now i know and will start another scarf soon...
